SLYO course fees are set at a very reasonable level but in no way should be mistaken for a lack of quality or standard. We are able to offer such reasonable course fees thanks to the generous support of James Allen’s Girls’ School.

All fees include lunch, refreshments, tuition and performances:

From 1 January 2025 SLYO will be adding VAT to all course fees due to changes in government legislation. Click here for more information on this.

4 Day Courses
£270 + VAT = £324 (full amount for first child attending)
£230 + VAT = £276 (reduced amount for 2nd and 3rd siblings)

3 Day Courses
£215 + VAT = £258  (full amount for first child attending)
£180 + VAT = £216 (reduced amount for 2nd and 3rd siblings)

*SLYO 1 Extra Strings Day - there is an extra day for all SLYO 1 string players; it precedes both the summer and winter courses:
£55+ VAT = £66 (additional charge on top of 3 or 4 day course fee)

Bursaries are available for families on lower incomes. Families in receipt of one or more of the following will be eligible for a bursary at SLYO:

• free secondary school meals
• universal credit / income support
