SLYO course fees include lunch, refreshments, tuition and performances. Please note, there is no extra ticket charge on concert day.

3 Day Courses 2026-27
£239.15+ VAT = £287  (full amount for first child attending)
£201.67+ VAT = £242 (reduced amount for 2nd and 3rd siblings)

4 Day Courses 2026-27
£296.67 + VAT = £356 (full amount for first child attending)
£255 + VAT = £306 (reduced amount for 2nd and 3rd siblings)

*SLYO 1 Extra Strings Day - there is an extra day for SLYO 1 string players before the summer 2026 course, making the summer course 5 days long rather than 4 days long for all SLYO 1 string players:
£428 (inclusive of VAT) 5 day strings SLYO 1 (full amount for first child attending)
£377 (inclusive of VAT) 5 day strings SLYO 1 (reduced amount for 2nd and 3rd siblings)

**SLYO 1 - Please note in 2026-27 there is not room before Xmas to add the extra strings day, so all SLYO 1 players will have a 3 day course in December 2026.

Financial Assistance - If your household income is £40,000 per year or under, you are eligible to apply for financial assistance. 

Our scheme works on a sliding scale so that people who are the most in need receive the most help, and the upper end is discretionary depending on the funds we have available. 

In some cases we may also be able to help families who have household incomes between £40,000 - £50,000; this will depend on the individual course and again funds available.

You can receive between 30% and 90% assistance with SLYO course fees. It is important to note that the assistance available may be different from one course to the next, again due to the funds we have available.
